Yes. With Command Cloud, all data is fully centralized in the cloud, which means ticket information is instantly available across the entire system the moment a ticket is created. Back-office teams can access it right away for billing prep, reporting, and analysis. The ticket replication or “ticket out” steps that were required in legacy on-premise setups are no longer needed, since there are no separate local installs to keep in sync.

The Scale Ticketing screen is designed from extensive end-user feedback, so the most valuable information is always clear and easy to find. While the overall layout is standardized for consistency and ease of use, certain fields — such as freight rates, tax codes, and other sensitive data—can be shown or hidden based on user permissions. This gives you control over what each user sees while keeping the ticket experience simple and intuitive.

Because the data packets sent from the scale are extremely small, weight readings appear on the screen almost instantly. Even with modest or constrained internet connectivity, you can expect smooth, near real-time performance at the scale.

Our cloud scale ticketing solutions uses a small on-site gateway, Command Edge, that connects your local plant hardware to our cloud applications. Like any modern cloud platform, Command Edge relies on an active internet connection to keep configuration, device status, and application data synchronized with Command Cloud.

To ensure consistent uptime, we recommend that sites use a redundant internet connection such as a secondary broadband provider, an LTE or 5G gateway, or Starlink.

Since the Command Edge device does not manage routing or failover between multiple internet connections redundancy should be handled at the site-network level. Many operations achieve strong reliability by using a dual-WAN router or a firewall with automatic failover.

A high-speed connection isn’t required. In most cases, a stable, low-bandwidth link, even as low as 5 Mbps, is sufficient for reliable operation. As with any cloud-based technology, additional bandwidth can help improve overall responsiveness, and pairing your connection with basic network redundancy can further strengthen day-to-day performance.

Current printing uses the standard Windows Print dialog, which aligns with how modern browsers handle print workflows today. We’re now introducing direct-print functionality powered by the Command Edge device, allowing it to serve as a local print server. This enables smoother, more automated printing without relying on browser prompts and will deliver a more seamless, production-ready workflow for your scale house or dispatch office. You will be able to configure where tickets go; that is routing output to specific, designated printers. This will ensure each site and workflow can send prints exactly where they need to go.

Manual ticketing is fully supported, so your team can continue to create and manage tickets by hand whenever needed.

Yes. Command Cloud includes built-in credit card processing, powered by our trusted payments partner, Fractal, this allows your customers to securely pay invoices and complete transactions directly within the platform.

Yes. Command Cloud’s invoicing engine is designed for complex, real-world billing. You can combine multiple product types, freight charges, surcharges, environmental fees, and other billable items on a single invoice. Invoicing across multiple legal entities is also on the near-term roadmap, so you will be able to provide consolidated billing while still keeping financials properly separated.

Command Cloud uses an integrated, cloud-based tax calculation service that automatically applies the correct tax rates based on location and local tax rules. That means you do not have to manually maintain tax tables or chase changing tax rates. The system ensures your taxes are calculated accurately and consistently, supporting compliance with far less effort.

Command Cloud includes comprehensive Billing Prep, Invoicing, and Accounts Receivable capabilities, so you can manage all billable activities in a central location. Command Cloud also supports automated integrations that send ticket data directly to your accounting or ERP system—no manual exports or uploads required. These connections are powered by our standard APIs, ensuring ticket and billing information into your downstream financial system is timely, accurate, and seamless.

All of these will continue to be a key part of our broader yard automation strategy.

• Kiosks will streamline check-in, tare-in, weigh-out, ticket printing, and other self-service steps to help reduce cycle times and minimize manual intervention.
• Scale Watcher, our camera-based tool that captures imagery at the scale for verification and recordkeeping, on our roadmap. Your existing camera hardware investments will continue to be supported. Our focus is on modernizing the software interfaces and strengthening integration, so image capture, vehicle verification, and automated recordkeeping all work seamlessly within the cloud platform.
• Load Manager is our modern, cloud-based replacement for the legacy Wireless Loader screen. It gives Loader Operators real-time visibility into vehicles in-plant and supports efficient load management right from a browser. Because it runs in the cloud, most of your existing hardware can continue to be used if it is on your network and supports a current browser. This means you can move to the new interface without major hardware changes or disruptions.
• Auto ID and third-party OPC integrations will continue to be supported – delivered through modern APIs and event-based communication instead of legacy on-prem Windows services. This approach provides more stable, secure, and scalable connectivity with your automation equipment. Existing hardware, including RFID readers, tags/cards, and other device interfaces, can continue to be used, so you can preserve your current investments while gaining the benefits of a more reliable, cloud-integrated automation framework.
